Associate Scientist (Animal Study)

GENERAL SUMMARY:
RD associated Scientist who could execute RD animal-study-related project under the supervision of the group leader.

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Taipei, Taiwan

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Experimentation:
Conduct in-vivo murine experiments, including the administration of treatments, monitoring animal physiological data, and perform endpoint necropsy/tissue collection.
Conduct sample analysis, including tissue processing, biochemical and immunological assays.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, record, and analyze experimental data. Interpret results and provide insights to support research findings and conclusions.
• Reporting: Prepare and present research findings in written reports, presentation and publications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other scientists and staffs.
• Others: Perform all other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Master’s degree in immunology or biomedical related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Skills:
Proficiency in animal (mice mainly) handling techniques, including oral gavage, SQ, IP, IM injection techniques (IV is a plus), and blood collection techniques from submandibular (facial vein) and cardiac, and Necropsy and tissue collection at termination.
Familiarity with cell isolation methods and cell culture.
Experience in flow cytometer and ELISA assay is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Associate Scientist (Biology)

GENERAL SUMMARY:
RD associated Scientist who could execute RD biology-related project under the supervision of group leader.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Experimentation:
Assist in designing and conducting experiments to study biological mechanisms.
Prepare and handle biological samples, including blood, tissues, and cell lines.
Perform immunological techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA and cell culture.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, record, and analyze experimental data. Interpret results and provide insights to support research findings and conclusions.
• Reporting: Prepare and present research findings in written reports, presentation and publications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other scientists and staffs.
• Others: Perform all other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Master’s degree in immunology or biomedical related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Skills:
Proficiency in immunological techniques such as flow cytometry, ELISA and western blotting.
Familiarity with cell culture and PBMC isolation methods .
Experience in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, and sequencing is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

RD Research Project Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The RD research project manager (RPM) will work closely with researchers, research consultants, and external partners to ensure successful delivery of research objectives (both in-house and outsourced) and the alignment with the strategic objectives of the company.

Location: Taipei, Taiwan

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Project Management:
Assist in defining project objectives, scope, deliverables and managing timeline, budget (including planning, forecasting and tracking expenses) and invoice.
Organize regular or ad hoc team meetings, prepare minutes, and track follow-up action items.
Assist with surveying CROs to identify the best service provider for the project. This includes obtaining and analyzing multiple quotes to compare prices, timelines, and the scope of work.
Serve as the primary point of contact for outsourced works.
Coordinate the shipping and receiving of research materials and assist with preparing all necessary documents for the logistics process.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• Documentation and Reporting:
Assist in reviewing service agreements, work orders, and contracts, completing the approval process, and filing into the Document Management System.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project contracts, service agreements, data, progress reports, and research findings.
Prepare and deliver presentations to departmental managers, summarizing project status, results, and recommendations.
• Execute other role duties as assigned for supporting RD project management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Master’s degree in biology relevant field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management with proven experience in managing multiple research projects simultaneously, preferably in a research environment.
• Skills:
Strong project management skills, including proficiency in project management software.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders. Knowledge of research methodologies, data analysis, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
The ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).
• Certifications (optional): Possessing a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or an equivalent is a plus.
